The Blind Spots referred to in this piece, are those pockets of invisibility located in and around the body. Imagined as a means of alternative redistribution of wealth, the practice of shoplifting is here represented at the moment when the merchandise is unloaded. This repeated activity suggests an undoing of the subjectivizing mechanisms at play in commodity consumption.
